SETON HILL PERIOD
2023 - current
I moved across country from my home in Las Vegas, NV to live with my long distance partner of 6 years. To explore career paths in the arts and my interest in the human condition, I applied and was accepted into a Masters of Art in Art Therapy at Seton Hill University. For two semesters I explored my inner critic through art, a loud and powerful force that influences how I see myself. At the end of my second semester I discovered I did not want to be a therapist, but rather continue on a path in art education. This is some of the work I produced during my time at Seton Hill.
Journal Entries
While in school we created art during most classes, tying a therapeutic theory, ethical dilemma, multicultural issue and child developmental stage to imagery. It has inspired in me to put intentional efforts in maintaining a journal for the purpose of self reflection of imagery and symbolic thought.

Addressing Model
Midterm Book Project for SAT 585 - Multicultural Therapy, exploring how my cultural characteristics could influence the therapeutic practice. Using Photoshop, I collaged each page and adhered them into a hardbound blank book. Using parchment paper to separate pages, while also having spreads where the images were connected.
